"Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we're releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early," Hugh Hefner tweeted Friday, a couple days after the January-February cover of Playboy featuring Lohan leaked online—and hours after her entire photo spread starting making the rounds.

"The Lindsay Lohan pictorial has been leaked on the Internet & is causing a sensation," the iconic Playboy founder wrote earlier today, predicting that upcoming issue is going to be "a true Collector's Edition."

News that someone had taken photos of Lohan's pictorial from an advance copy of the magazine and posted them online "without permission."

On December 15th, Hollywood’s wild child, Lindsey Lohan will debut her Marilyn Monroe inspired photo shoot for Playboy, on the Ellen Degeneres show. The actress’ cover for Playboy was leaked online, giving readers and viewers everywhere a peek at things to come. The cover shows Lohan sitting astride a chair with the back shaped like the famous Playboy Bunny. The chair discreetly covers all the private parts on the cover that was leaked, but the whole set will be revealed soon.

Lindsay reportedly made $1 million for the shoot that was originally taken for the men’s magazine back in October of this year.

Despite statements made by Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina, that the actress would not be completely nude, Hugh Hefner The Insider: “It’s a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy.”

Words that keep being thrown around in regards to the shoot are “classy” and “tasteful”.
