One of the stranger aspects of that taped phone conversation between former ball boy Bobby Davis and accused molester Bernie Fine's wife, Laurie, is the apparent revelation that Davis had a sexual relationship with Laurie. 

If any of Laurie's conquests decide to go public, it would be very bad for the Fines—and it could very well mean the end of Boeheim's time at Syracuse.

On Monday, CNN — with far less lead-up fanfare — touted an exclusive interview with Laurie Fine, wife of former Syracuse assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine, who is accused of molesting team ball boys. This interview lasted 18 seconds, and consisted of AC 360‘s Gary Tuchman knocking on the door of the Fine house, and swatting down “no comments” from Laurie Fine by asking more questions. 

Keteyian’s interview consisted of 68 words, 29 of which were McQueary’s. Tuchman’s was 70 words, 21 of which were Fine’s. Both Fine and McQueary were interviewed at their houses.

Tuchman, meanwhile, looked like he had the camera shoot from a distance while he asked Laurie Fine his questions. And we never see Laurie Fine’s face.

 The wife of longtime assistant Syracuse basketball coach Bernie Fine told a former team ball boy accusing Fine of molestation that her husband should just go find himself “a gay boy” because “he needs that male companionship that I can’t give him,” according to a secretly recorded phone conversation.

Laurie Fine’s stunning comments during the 2002 phone call with her hubby’s accuser Bobby Davis came after she appeared to corroborate Davis’ claims that her husband repeatedly abused him sexually in the Fine home when he was a child.

Davis then said, “He likes boys.”

Right down in the basement, door closed.”

Laurie answered, “Yeah, I still have a graphic memory of that, thank you.”

“You did nothing wrong,” Laurie told Davis.
